When I decided to start collecting salt and pepper shakers, I had a great deal of difficulty finding sites with a lot of information about salt and pepper shakers. I found sites with people's collections, sites that sold salt and pepper shakers, and a few articles about salt and pepper shakers. I decided that I would do a site that had all kinds of information in a centralized location. On this site, I'm going to talk about collecting salt and pepper shakers. I'll give a bit of history on salt and pepper shakers themselves, as well as some background on how I got involved in collecting them. I will also include some of the basics of collecting shakers. There will be a page of resources collectors rely on from the web and other media. I will also have a page with links to places on the web where you can purchase shakers. And, of course, I'll include pictures of my own collection.
I have also recently included links to information about various manufacturers (on the resources page) and links to manufacturers still in existence (on places to buy page). If you have a favorite that is not listed, please contact me!
